Barbara and John are new to running their own pub. Barbara's profession up to now has been secretarial, working in the City of London within the Stock Exchange, various Stockbrokers and American Banks. She last worked at Petchey Holdings, a property company based in Ilford. She has also worked in the catering profession on a casual basis since she was 15 years of age as a silver service waitress. She loves cooking, and will thoroughly enjoy making home-made dishes for the menu, along with a good vegetarian selection.

John has worked for the last 40 years at Kelvin Hughes a marine radar suppliers. He has completed 2 London Marathons and 1 in Colchester for charity and has been involved with Brentwood Amateur Dramatics Society for the last 5 years, which has included appearing in about 30 shows.
